**Title**: Sales Assistant

**Reports to**: Senior Director of Sales

**Based at**: Mucci International Marketing Inc., Kingsville, ON

**Type of Employment**: Full-Time, permanent, 6-days a week; Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Additional hours may be required, depending on workload and priorities.

**Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Effectively process and manage customer orders from the time they are received until the product ships, utilizing internal computer and manual tracking systems
- Provide support in managing e-commerce transactions
- Monitor inventory levels
- Track customer orders through delivery
- Ensure special customer requirements are accurate, current and noted on orders
- Work effectively with sales personnel to resolve any issues or disparities regarding shipments
- Implement quick decisions and problem solving in sudden and unplanned situations that can occur in produce sales and production
- Provide professional customer service in a fast paced environment, with a focus on process improvement and contribution to improving teamwork and workflow
- Represent Mucci Group in an ethical and professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers and customers

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- College diploma in business or administrative studies is preferred
- 3-5 years experience in an administrative or sales support role with a focus on customer service and data entry
- Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and to reprioritize tasks on a daily basis
- Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral and spoken) in English.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook and I-Trade and Famous
- Excellent documentation, communication, computer and time management skills.

**Physical Abilities**:

- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to deal with challenging employees and/or situations.

**Job Requirements**:The incumbent will be committed to customer service excellence and leading by example. A positive attitude in the workplace is required as is the ability to adhere to all human resources, operational and food and health safety policies and procedures.
