**Position**

**Band Saw Operator**

**Duties**

Set up and operate a band saw to cut metal as per drawing

Measure parts to ensure conformance to specifications

Remove and install new blades

Use overhead crane to load machine and move material

Retrieve material as needed

Rack new material and off-cuts in an organized manner

**Experience/Assets**

2 years’ experience preferred

Knowledge of measuring instruments and tolerance

Overhead crane experience

Excellent knowledge of metal types and ability to identify and differentiate between materials

Excellent organization skills
