Production Worker

We currently have an opportunity for a Production Worker at our Crossfield, AB plant. On the job training is provided in a friendly team minded environment.

**Some of the responsibilities for this role may include**:

- General heavy labour work in a precast concrete facility.
- Assembly, preparation and dismantling of concrete forms.
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading of concrete materials.
- Using various hand tools such as saws and pneumatic tools.
- Focus on maintaining quality workmanship.
- Physical activities include walking, standing, kneeling, bending, lifting (up to 50lbs), reaching, using arms/hands to operate equipment.
- Required to wear a hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection at all times and a respirator (which requires an employee to be clean-shaven) when needed for specific jobs.
- Following Safe Work Procedures and safety regulations.
- Forklift or machine operating experience (an asset, not a requirement)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to teamwork, problem solving, mutual respect and punctuality

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
