**Lead, Clinical Solution Management (MEDITECH), Testing and Release Management **role. Involved in leading the various testing types and change control activities for the Expanse program, you will closely work with all levels of the business, ensuring the work you are doing aligns with the program’s expectations and is reflective of measurable results.
Build your career experience as you focus on some of the following key roles and responsibilities:
**TESTING**:
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining the project level Test Strategy in consultation with the various module leads
- Closely work with the Portfolio Managers and module leads in defining timelines for each of the in scope test types
- Lead the Test planning, coordination and execution activities for each of the test types
- Responsible to ensure test planning and execution activities are completed within the prescribed timelines
- Understand the clinical workflows and be flexible to perform hands-on testing whenever a need arises
- Lead the testers and ensure deliverables from the Test team are of high quality
- Triage defects and own the defect life cycle process
- Acts as an escalation point for the Testing team, assists in resolving complex problems
- Ensure traceability between workflows, test cases and their test results are in place
- Lead and co-ordinate the testing for Priority Packs
- Engage in multiple initiatives, able to prioritize and support the execution of projects
**CHANGE/RELEASE MANAGEMENT**:
- Take ownership of managing and approving Change Requests
- Maintain the Change Requests workflow and suggest refinements as part of continuous improvement
- Follow-up on any overdue Change Requests
- Lead the weekly CAB meetings
- Flexible to adapt to using any Change Management tool (Smartsheet, dedicated Teams space, SharePoint, etc)
- Responsible to guide the Change Management resources on effective best practices and to ensure Change Management tickets are moving forward
**Are you motivated to join us? We will be looking for you to have the following**:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Systems Management or an equivalent field
- Seven (7) to Ten (10) years recent related experience in a medium to large sized organization including experience with health and corporate information systems
- An added advantage if you have experience with an electronic health information system, such as Meditech, Paris, Intrahealth Profile, CST
**An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.**
**Here is what experience we would like you to have**:
- Leading and performing hands-on testing in an electronic health record setting
- Ability to understand workflows and create test cases from these
- Provide guidance to team members during test cases creation and responsible for reviewing and ensuring accuracy of these test cases
- Oversee and lead the logistics of room bookings and devices required for testers during various test phases
- Hands-on experience in various test phases like Unit/Functional, Integration, Parallel Run/User Acceptance, Performance, Regression, Device Readiness and downtime Devices testing
- Provide guidance to team members during test execution and ensure testing completes within the agreed to timelines
- Work with build teams and come up with a Regression suite
- Proven experience with managing Change Control tickets and leading them right from initiation to delivery
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment including providers and clinicians
- Flexibility to work in a hospital setting (having various shift timings) during software releases and to provide end user support
- Willingness to multi task between Testing and Change Release management activities
- Ready to work in a highly rewarding & challenging environment with frequent changes to be expected
