- Provide leadership in Business Process Reengineering concepts, methods and technologies
- Engage in multiple initiatives and will be responsible for Test planning & execution coordination, perform hands-on testing when required, business requirements gathering, data requirements & analysis, supporting the execution of projects, change & release management coordination & support, Device requirements planning and working with the Devices team to procure the necessary devices
- Work closely with the Informatics Leads to assist in resolving complex problems
- Update and maintain project plans
- Triage defects and follow-up until resolution

- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Systems Management or an equivalent field
- Three (3) to Five (5) years recent related experience in a medium to large sized organization including experience with health and/or corporate information systems
- An added advantage if you have experience with an electronic health information system such as Meditech, Paris, Intrahealth Profile, CST

**An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.**

**Here is what we would like you to have**:

- Business requirements gathering experience for devices, test data and test environment needs
- Experience coordinating and/or performing hands-on testing in an electronic health record setting
- Ability to understand workflows and create test cases from these
- Able to coordinate the logistics of room bookings and devices required for testers during various test phases
- Hands-on experience in various test phases like Unit/Functional, Integration, Parallel Run/User Acceptance, Performance, Regression, Device Readiness and downtime Devices testing
- Ability to work with build teams and come up with a Regression suite
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment including providers and clinicians
- Flexibility to work in a hospital setting during software releases
- Willingness to multi task between Testing and Change Release management activities

This is a
** temporary full-time two years **role. The position will be based at our Central City Offices, Surrey, B.C. with a hybrid work model.

Detailed Overview:

The Analyst, Business Systems, Health Informatics - Community and Primary Care, is responsible for providing a range of business and systems analysis and support services to the community and primary care areas within Fraser Health. Analyzes business process re-engineering concepts and methods, with respect to health informatics, and develops, implements, and maintains health information systems and business practices pertaining to electronic health information capture and utilization. Ensures the development of the electronic health records for Fraser Health.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supports, develops, and maintains the business processes necessary to facilitate care provider access to electronic health information systems by conducting feasibility studies and determining user requirements for the uptake of electronic health information functionality or systems.
