Network Manager

**Network Manager/Architect** specializing in **SD-WAN** solutions with Fortigate will play a critical role in designing and securing network infrastructures. Designs and implements computer networks for an organization. This includes creating network solutions tailored to the company's needs, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- ** Architect SD-WAN Solutions**: Design and deploy SD-WAN solutions incorporating Fortinet's FortiGate firewalls for robust network security. Transition from traditional WAN to SD-WAN while ensuring optimal performance.
- ** Security Management**: Implement Fortinet’s security features, including advanced firewall configurations, VPNs (IPsec/SSL), and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
- ** Advanced Troubleshooting**: Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for network-related issues, ensure mínimal downtime, and maintain network reliability.
- ** Policy Development**: Establish and enforce security policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- ** Documentation and Training**: Create detailed network documentation and offer training to team members on best practices and new technology trends.
- ** Implementation**: Oversee the deployment of network solutions, ensuring they meet specifications and performance standards.
- ** Collaboration**: Work with other IT professionals to integrate network systems with existing infrastructure.
- ** Maintenance and Upgrades**: Regularly update network hardware and software, ensuring network security and efficiency.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- ** Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or specialized network certifications are beneficial.
- ** Experience**: Extensive hands-on experience in network engineering, particularly with SD-WAN and Fortinet FortiGate technologies. Proficiency in routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF is vital.
- ** Certifications**: Fortinet certifications (NSE 4 or NSE 7) are highly desirable. Additional certifications in network security are also valuable.
- ** Technical Skills**: Strong knowledge of Fortinet’s product suite, including FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiGate's SD-WAN capabilities. Experience with network security and firewall management is crucial.
- ** Soft Skills**: Excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative work style. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- ** Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot network issues.
- ** Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
