- **Purpose of Position**_

The Pembina Trails School Division’s Learning and Information Technologies department oversees all technology throughout its 35 schools and admin offices.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: _
- Designs, implements, and manages Intune, SCCM & MECM.
- Troubleshoots all aspects of Intune/Configuration Manager effectively.
- Maintains performance and health of Intune/Configuration Manager deployment.
- Administers, integrates and co-manages (Intune-SCCM).
- Sets up and manages Group Policies / Intune Policies.
- Proposes, tests, and applies security policies & configurations to meet security objectives of the endpoint systems.
- Monitors and manages security on end user devices.Supports, configures and maintains various cloud technologies.
- Researches, tests, and evaluates hardware, software, and standards in view of recommending appropriate purchases
- Maintains accurate records including IT requests (work orders), network asset inventories, configuration documents, technical specifications, and troubleshooting records.
- Administers and maintains end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Performs system backups and recovery.
- Monitors and tests network performance and provides performance statistics and reports.
- Recommends, schedules, and performs network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned to support the efficient operation of the Department.
- **Skills and Qualifications**_

Skill and Knowledge - Required:

- Post-secondary education in Information Technology or another related field and two or more years experience in Endpoint Management or Administration, or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
- Working technical knowledge Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell and M365.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles.
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including servers, switches, firewalls, storage area networks, SIP, etc.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of employees with various skill levels.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal with complaints and concerns effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Skill and Knowledge - Desired:

- Prior experience in an educational environment.
- Experience with project management.
- IT-specific certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Net+.
- Microsoft Certifications.

Pay: $45.19-$54.43 per hour
