**Duties**: Duties will include:

- Read and interpret shop drawings on a variety of Glulam wood manufactured beams
- Operate and set up CNC machine tool attachments to perform repetitive machine operations
- Program and edit the machine to specify speed, feed rates, and cut of the tool path for numerically controlled machine tools
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Maintain safety standards and safe work practices
- Keep records of production data and maintenance as well as maintain equipment inventory and supplies
- Inspect finished product for accuracy and quality ensuring compliance with specifications.

**Requirements**:

- Able to adapt to fast paced industrial environment with a shifting schedule.
- Standard CSA approved Steel toed boots are required, we will provide safety glasses, work gloves, hardhat, and reflective vests.
- WHMIS 2015 certification, Overhead crane certification, first aid training are all assets to this position but not a requirement.
- Experience in operating CNC equipment will be an asset, preferably similar machines in the wood industry, computer software knowledge, good organizational skills
- Must be able to perform basic maintenance tasks that require working safely underneath the machine.

**Work Schedules**:

- Afternoon shift times to be determined when required due to workload.
- Flexibility with rotating production schedules will be considered an asset to this role
- Overtime may be required

**Wages**:

- Wage will start at $25.00hr. Wages will be evaluated and increased with more training, competency, and progression with the company.

**Benefits**:

- After 180 days of employment, workers will be eligible for sick days based on the pro-rated number of days left in the calendar year.
- Vacation pay accumulates each pay period. Accumulated vacation can be paid out at the request of the employee.

- $200 Annual work boot allowance after 90-day probationary period

Pay: $25.00 per hour
