**About the Opportunity**
**Responsibilities**
- Design or modify engineering schematics for electrical power distribution and control systems or for electrical installation using computer-aided design (CAD) software to facilitate production.
- Diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electrical components, assemblies, or systems repair, and test control systems.
- Ensuring quality assembly and testing of the complete scope of products
- Visually check components and assemblies for electrical and mechanical defects
- Review electrical engineering plans to ensure adherence to design specifications and compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
- Supervise the construction or testing of electrical prototypes, according to general instructions and established standards.
- Calculate design specifications or cost, material, and resource estimates, and prepare project schedules.
- Compile and maintain records documenting engineering schematics, installed equipment, installation or operational problems, resources used, repairs, or corrective action performed.
- Oversee the execution of electrical assembly targets, including quality and production, by ensuring that the team works to job specifications and follows the blueprints
- Assemble electrical components on a control panel, wire and test the panel
- Set up and operate hand and power tools to facilitate production requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis on a failed electrical component, electronic circuit boards etc.
- Keep track of project materials, tools, and equipment, and inform supervisor and coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure smooth flow in production.
- Properly document and follow established procedures of RAM Elevators and Lifts
- Adhere to the safety protocols and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, must have steel toe boots.
- Communicate, train and ensure team members comply with safety policies and procedures of the organization.
