**Hours Per Week**: Up to 24 hours/week
**Pay Rate**: $29.67/hour

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma/Degree in Education, Business and/or Administrative Studies. Additional post-secondary education related to project management and research methods an asset
- Minimum one year’s experience in a fast-paced deadline driven department that demands a high level of attention to detail and consistently high-quality final products in a wide variety of projects and initiatives
- Experience working with Indigenous Peoples, communities and cultures in a research capacity an asset
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles, stages, and software.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies and processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience with statistical analysis software for project and data aggregation

**Responsibilities**:

- Support assigned research project activities including but not limited to; scoping, grant writing support, project implementation, budgeting, recording, and summarizing data, performing basic data aggregation and analysis, writing data and/or funding reports
- Liaise with the Director of the Research Centre, the Academic Leadership Team, Researchers, Students, and Industry and/or Community Partners on assigned projects, providing updates and exchanging information regularly with these key individuals
- Other duties as assigned
