1. Receiving and Inspecting Shipments

  • Receiving and unloading incoming shipments.
  • Checking received goods for accuracy and quality.
  • Documenting and recording received items.

2. Inventory Management

  • Organizing and storing inventory efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Conducting regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.

3. Order Picking

  • Accurately picking items from stock to fulfill customer orders.

4. Shipping and Receiving

  • Preparing items for outgoing shipments.
  • Loading and unloading trucks.

5. Warehouse Organization

  • Keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Arranging stock to optimize space utilization.

6. Equipment Operation

  • Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Conducting equipment inspections and maintenance.

7. Quality Control

  • Conducting quality checks on products or materials.
  • Identifying and reporting any damaged or defective items.

8. Record Keeping

  • Maintaining accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions.
  • Generating reports as needed for management.

9. Safety and Compliance

  • Following safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Complying with company and regulatory standards.
  • Reporting safety issues and incidents.

10. Communication

  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Notifying management of any stock shortages or discrepancies.

11. Problem Solving

  • Resolving issues related to inventory discrepancies or order errors.
  • Troubleshooting equipment problems when necessary.

12. Teamwork

  • Providing assistance to other departments when required.

13. Continuous Improvement

  • Suggesting and implementing process improvements.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
