At Great Canadian Burger, we are dedicated to utilizing only the finest ingredients to craft a great burger and hold our staff to the same high standard. We are currently seeking a great, reliable, and dynamic line/ prep cook to join our team. This is a key position that requires a high standard of preparing raw ingredients that are ready for consumption in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Overview**:
**What you will do in this role?**

**Duties**:

- Greet customers and provide a welcoming atmosphere
- Prepare ingredients for cooking (including chopping vegetables, making sauces, grinding meat, and blanching fries)
- Provide exceptional service and ensure accurate orders for delivery partners and allot outstanding service that meet their requirements
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Collaborate and assisting kitchen and service teams
- Support cashier when needed

**Skills**
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience as a cook or in food preparation is an asset
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, grinding and blanching foods etc)
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Problem solving and decision making
- Ability to handle moderate physical demands: standing for 8 hours and lifting up to 20 kg

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$18.55 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
