District Sales Manager

**Job Summary**
The District Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales and operations of multiple retail locations within a designated district. This role focuses on driving sales, managing teams, ensuring exceptional customer service and meeting or exceeding sales targets. The District Manager will develop strategies to maximize revenue, manage inventory, and enhance the overall customer experience while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Leadership**:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve district revenue goals.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends and identify opportunities to drive results.
- Set clear objectives and performance expectations for store managers and sales teams.
- Lead weekly sales calls and meetings to review performance and motivate teams.
- **Team Management and Development**:
- Recruit, train and mentor store managers and sales associates, ensuring a high-performance culture.
- Create succession planning for top talent within the district.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
- Develop and execute training programs to improve product knowledge, sales techniques and customer service skills.
- Implement performance improvement plans for underperforming stores or team members.
- **Operational**:
- Ensure all stores adhere to company policies, procedures and operational standards.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing shrinkage.
- Occasionally as required, conduct Inventory Audits at the Stores.
- Attend Carrier and Corporate Events, as requested
- Collaborate with store managers to maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness.
- **Customer Experience**:
- Promote a customer centric culture by ensuring all team members provide exceptional service.
- Address escalated customer issues promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Implement initiatives to enhance the in-store customer experience and drive loyalty.
- **Market and Competitor Analysis**:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and industry changes to inform sales strategies.
- Identify new opportunities for growth, such as promotions, partnerships or new product launches.
- Provide feedback to the carrier and corporate teams on market conditions and customer needs.
- **Compliance and Reporting**:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety, labor laws and wireless industry regulations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales, performance metrics and district challenges to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory and staff performance
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- **Experience**: You must have around 5 years of Management experience in Telecommunication Industry or related Industry
- Must have insured vehicle and a valid driver's license
**Skills**
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends and develop actionable strategies.
- Able to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends
