**Position Summary**:
The Corporate Procurement & Supply Chain Director will work closely with the Corporate Vice President Equipment Performance and Procurement, and internal stakeholders, and be responsible for managing and developing sourcing strategies for materials, assets, and services used in the road construction industry. This position will develop, administer, and evaluate the Strategic Sourcing Process for all purchasing activity and will be responsible for developing critical internal and external relationships.

**Role - Key Duties and Performance**:

- Develop and implement strategic procurement roadmaps that align with Colas Canada objectives and overarching objectives of the procurement teams in the subsidiary level.
- Lead, oversee, and enhance supplier performance, relationships, and agreements at the highest levels across various categories.
- Lead the cross-functional and decentralized procurement and supply chain teams providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions based on the highest ethical business practices.
- Manage the negotiation for contract management for the new agreements or the renewals.
- Lead, and influence implementation of policies related to supplier commitments.
- Collaborate with the Procurement and Supply Chain Leaders in the subsidiary level and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop effective procurement strategies.
- Oversee the strategic alignment by using analysis of historical spend data, KPI, market research and cost modeling to identify and leverage high value opportunities that deliver innovative and sustainable value, operational efficiencies, and risk mitigation to the business.
- Implement cost-effective measures and identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance procurement efficiency in Colas Canada and its subsidiaries.
- Interact with internal business partners to achieve involvement in procurement and proposal activities.
- Leverage the company's national and global expenditures to secure financial benefit.
- Meet existing and develop new rebate, CSR, and other key performance measurement objectives.
- Provide strategic insights to stakeholders in terms of market and opportunity analysis.
- Collect, analyze, and develop a sourcing plan and conduct sourcing activities while ensuring optimal delivery and quality requirements.
- Perform an internal audit review of existing procurement procedures.

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree,
- 15+ years experience leading a progressive procurement function within the construction or infrastructure industry,
- Strategic sourcing experience in a large manufacturing environment and/or construction,
- Proven success in delivery of procurement objectives under KPI,
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and market trends,
- Sourcing experience in indirect, fleet, construction equipment, manufacturing equipment, or services is considered as a nice-to-have.

- Competence in developing and executing category strategies,
- Strong time management, organizational, and presentation skills,
- Strong computer skills: MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

**Travel: 65%**
- Travel to local subsidiaries, U.S and International Colas Business units including supplier visits.
