**Required Skills**:

- Lead, shape and deliver a practical and effective Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery program.
- Support processes such as the business impact analysis, recovery time and point objectives, single point of failure and critical path mapping reviews, and coordinate the testing of continuity strategies.
- Provide program oversight to ensure our partners in the Business and in IT are following standard processes and remain aligned with Global Standards.
- Work with business areas to ensure recovery strategies and workarounds are detailed in case of business interruption.
- Work with vendors and internal partners to provide alternate strategies for business processes.
- Develop, schedule and conduct BC/DR exercises in accordance with segment goals and Global standards.
- Mature our programs against global risk standards and controls alongside IT and BU partners.
- Move key elements of our program to higher levels of maturity through continuous improvement of processes
- Provide advice, assistance and support to BU’s, IT and other project teams
- Embrace and deploy innovative solutions to manage the information risk associated with new technology and new processes.
- Manage automated notification tool (MIR3) to ensure data.
- Help ensure plans are valid and viable through regular testing and evidence is maintained to provide assurance of resilience for business continuity risk.
- Assist the business in tracking and reporting on open action items related to lessons learned identified through testing, external events, and Internal Audit/external review findings; ensure adequacy of evidence to support closure of findings.
- Help leads the analysis of refreshing enterprise BCM key risk indicators and work with Global BCM for approval.

**Job Requirements**:

- proven experience (7 years +) in one or more of the following fields: Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Information Technology/Systems, Project Management, Information Risk Management, ideally with some of that time spent in a large, complex organization.
- University Degree preferred, but not required
- Financial Services industry experience preferred.
- Professional certification in BCM - ABCP, CBCP, MBCI or MBCP a plus, or working towards obtaining certification.
- Strong computing skills (MS Office) and some familiarity with BCM Planning tools and/or relational databases - e.g., Fusion Risk Management
- Broad understanding of system technologies and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) including ability to develop and deliver effective user education sessions and a willingness to present to all organizational levels.
- Achievement oriented with proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to build relationship, engage and influence others.
