**Job Overview**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Estimator to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Junior Estimator will work very closely with members of Sales as well as Operations to provide complete and detailed quotation and sales order packages to our customers.

Core responsibilities include:

- Accurately interpreting diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals and specifications, translating the interpretation to prepare accurate estimates.
- Work closely with the Sales Director and the Sales Team on all new and current projects.
- Communicating with customers and sales representatives to establish and confirm job requirements.
- Set up new customer accounts in ERP.
- Prepare timely and accurate quotations and costing estimates.
- Ensure appropriate CAD drawings are attached to all required quotations for sales.
- Follow up on quotations; assist with closing sales opportunities and collecting deposits, as required.
- Create new sales orders.
- Ensure that sales order packages are complete, accurate and passed on to the Production Team in a timely manner.
- Review historic projects and pricing in order to incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
- Drive quoting and estimating effectiveness with consideration given to process improvements where possible.
- Template daily work schedule and activities.
- Assist with other duties as required by management.

Experience and Skills Required:

- Technical and hands on experience with doors, trim and hardware is essential.
- Experience in an estimating/quoting role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization and communication/reporting skills.
- Ability to collaborate with members across multiple teams on an ongoing basis.
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Solutions focused - attitudes influence engagement and productivity.
- Technical proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems, preparing summaries and status reporting.
- Progressive approach and innovative thinker; embraces opportunities to consider doing things differently to yield a better result.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
