**About Us**

Bateman Fine Cabinetry is a custom cabinetry and furniture company specializing in high-end kitchens, vanities, closets, and built-in furniture. Every project is built and finished in-house with a focus on quality, detail, and craftsmanship. We are currently looking to train and develop a **Cabinet Finishing Apprentice** to assist our finishing department with painting, staining, and final prep.

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Sand and prepare cabinet components (MDF, wood, veneer) for finishing
- Assist with stain and paint mixing under direction
- Perform finish sanding between coats for smooth, flawless results
- Inspect work for defects and touch up as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in the finishing area, clean tools and equipment regularly
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures for finishing processes

**What We’re Looking For**
- Some experience with painting, staining, or woodworking is an asset — but not required
- Strong interest in cabinet making, woodworking, or fine finishing
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Good eye for detail and a steady hand
- Punctual, reliable, and hardworking
- Ability to lift and move cabinet parts and work on your feet throughout the day

Pay: $38,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
