About Us

Bateman Fine Cabinetry is a custom cabinetry and millwork company specializing in high-end kitchens, vanities, closets, built-ins, and cottage projects. All cabinetry is built and finished in-house, with a strong focus on quality, systems, and long-term growth.

We are entering a major growth phase and are looking to bring on a Cabinet Installer / Apprentice Cabinetmaker who wants to learn the trade properly and grow with the company.

Why This Role Is Different

This role is designed for someone who wants to learn through real experience, not just carry tools or bounce between job sites.

You'll spend most of your time on installs, working alongside experienced installers, learning how cabinetry should be laid out, fitted, and finished in real homes. When not on site, you'll be in the shop assisting with cabinet assembly or completing improvement tasks that support production and quality.

This position offers a clear path to grow into a skilled installer and, over time, a well-rounded cabinetmaker.

Position Overview

As a Cabinet Installer / Apprentice Cabinetmaker, you'll support on-site cabinet installations and assist the shop team as needed. This role is ideal for someone with basic construction knowledge who wants to turn that experience into a long-term career in custom cabinetry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site cabinet and millwork installations
• Learn proper cabinet installation techniques (leveling, scribing, fitting)
• Load, transport, and protect cabinetry for delivery and install
• Maintain clean and respectful job sites in clients' homes
• Assist with cabinet assembly and prep work in the shop when not installing
• Support shop improvement tasks based on current needs
• Follow install procedures, safety standards, and company processes
• Communicate issues or deficiencies clearly to the team
