Sunterra Retail Accounting is actively recruiting to fill a role in Sales and Cash Management.
Sunterra Retail office teams work day to day to support the busy operations in our stores. The Sales and Cash Management role is a dynamic position in the accounting team, completing timely posting and reconciliation while providing support and guidance to our stores. Team members in Accounting work on a variety of initiatives both within accounting and cross departmentally. Professionalism, the ability to multi-task, and passion for food and service is a requirement
Retail Sales Posting and Cash Management Routines
- Sales posting and reviewing against source system for accuracy.
- Customer and Partner payment investigation and follow up
- Detailed problem resolution and investigation
- Working closely with internal managers to resolve discrepancies with customers.
- Weekly sales reporting to related Stakeholders
- Daily cash and deposit downloads, monitoring, and Reconciliation
- AR payment processing (EFT, E-commerce Credit Card)
- Monthly bank and other fee’s processing
Other Reconciliation and Accounting Routines
- Inventory review, reconciliations
- Fixed assets tracking, depreciation, monitoring, and reconciliation
- Balance sheet and clearing Account Reconciliation
- Documenting any new processes for training
- Reporting, analysis, reconciliation and additional projects as needed
- Communication with the Retail office, Stores, and General Public
- Back up reception and phone coverage as part of Retail office Accounting team
- Various other duties and growth into additional Accounting and Finance responsibilities may be determined, understanding that Sunterra operates in a very strong team-based atmosphere
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Professional and approachable, positive, and outgoing
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Technical ability and ability to learn and run various software
- Willingness to work as a part of a team, across a variety of initiatives
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately is a must
- Self Starter with strong prioritization skills
