**OVERVIEW**
Join us for the summer Reporting to the Guest Services Manager your internship will mainly focus on the daily operations of the front office department, which includes front desk, reservations and night audit. In the interest of giving you a well-rounded experience, some time will also be spent in Housekeeping, Sales and the Food and beverage department.

**SOME TASKS**:
- Support Front office team with daily operations.
- Welcome guests
- Receive and process individual reservations (telephone, online, travel agents)
- Process check-ins and check-outs, register transactions and meet all customer expectations.
- Spend some time with the Sales department to understand how those two department have to work with each other
- Spend some time with the Housekeeping department to understand how those two department have to work with each other.
- Learn how we work in order to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness
- Spend some time in the F&B department, learn how to read and execute Banquets and Events Order
- Special projects
- Assist all guests as required while providing exceptional customer service
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures and standards.
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Excellent customer service: Approachable, pleasant, courteous, empathetic, fast acting
- Able and enjoys working in a team environment as well as independently
- Able to adapt to a changing environment and plan ahead
- Good computer knowledge
- English communication, both oral and written
