**About the opportunity**:
To meet the needs of our constantly evolving clientele, Best Way Stone is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Intelligence Specialist to join our Finance team.

The Data Intelligence Specialist is a cross-disciplinary role that integrates data engineering, data analysis, and financial analysis to deliver impactful insights that guide strategic business decisions. This role requires a professional with advanced technical expertise, analytical acumen, and financial modeling skills to manage data pipelines, analyze key business metrics, and create detailed reports to ensure the cost-effectiveness, profitability, and overall success of Best Way Stone.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a hybrid data engineering, data analysis, or financial analysis role
- Proven track record of working with **Power BI** and creating advanced, interactive dashboards.
- Experience integrating and analyzing data from **Salesforce** or similar CRM platforms.
- Strong background in building automated reporting systems using SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience in Microsoft products such as Excel, Share-point, workflows and Access.
- Advanced proficiency in **SQL** for data extraction and transformation.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R for automation and statistical analysis.
- Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., **Power BI**, Tableau).
- Familiarity with Salesforce data structures, APIs, and reporting tools.
- Understanding of cloud data tools (e.g., Azure, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery).

- Some of the responsibilities for this role include:_
- Build and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines integrating platforms such as **Salesforce**, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage and secure scalable data storage solutions (i.e. warehouses, lakes), to support departmental needs.
- Automate data tasks using tools such tools as **Power Automate**, **Python** and **SQL** and collaborate on cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends and actionable insights.
- Build dynamic dashboards and advanced reporting solutions using **Power BI** and ERP data.
- Perform statistical analyses and create data models for forecasting and predictive insights.
- Analyse financial performance and identify trends to drive profitability.
- Develop financial models and evaluate growth strategies.
- Deliver actionable insights and collaborate on budget alignment.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
