**Job Description**:
The Manager, Property Development Marketing, reporting directly to the Vice President, Property Marketing and Customer Experience, functions as the marketing business partner to Tricon’s Canadian development business, which is focused on delivering new, lifestyle-focused purpose-built rental supply to the city of Toronto. Tricon was the first mover to enter Toronto’s purpose-built rental apartment sector with scale in 2016, and is today the market leader and most active developer in the marketplace with twelve projects totalling approximately 6,000 new units in operation and under construction. Our buildings are concentrated in prime downtown Toronto locations, and are defined by design excellence, signature resort-quality amenities, exceptional customer service, and lifestyle programming that fosters connections and builds community. We are creating the highest quality portfolio of irreplicable multi-family apartment properties in North America’s fastest-growing city, adding celebrated communities to Toronto’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.
This position will lead project and portfolio-level marketing from project visioning and conceptualization to leasing launch. The individual will be responsible for collaborating closely with the internal development team, lease-up marketing team, and operations/asset management teams on project identity and activation, and delivering on defined timelines. In addition, the role will manage the third-party creative agency deliverables and oversight of market-leading collateral. Understanding the different construction stages and the marketing materials needed, relative to each stage is imperative. This position requires expert industry knowledge of the local real estate market, social trends, competitor buildings (condo and rental), marketing and advertising best practices, and recognize leading-edge creative collateral.
This is a 1 Year Fixed Term Contract.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Development Marketing:
- Develop and manage multiple project timelines that are created in partnership between the Development and Marketing teams
- Establish and communicate marketing processes and cadences in support of the unique business objectives of each project
- Ensure all deliverables are completed on time, on budget and provide weekly reports
- Manage relationship and priorities of our agency of record, ensuring they are equipped to deliver based on project timelines and needs
- Lead project visioning and identity, bringing together all relevant stakeholders at varying stages of the project to support the alignment of product, design and brand identity
- Monitor, organize and distribute all marketing materials as needed
- Manage production for all onsite signage, print and digital collateral
- Inform on creative messaging and imagery that best targets the renter demographic
- Serve as a brand steward to ensure all creative deliverables are in line with the Tricon Residential and property brands
- Actively contribute to the creation of a world-class brand that frames Tricon as a developer and housing provider of choice with our target audience
- Design PowerPoint Presentations presenting relevant marketing information, applicable to varying audiences, as required

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- University or college degree.
- 5+ years Marketing real estate industry experience in the construction and launching of new development properties (purpose-built rental experience is a plus)
- Agency experience is a plus
- Effective communicator both in written and oral forms with all diverse array of audiences
- Strong presentation skills
