**1-800-GOT-JUNK? is hiring for Truck Team Members.** We are proud to be the leaders of our industry and to offer great people employment opportunities that help them grow and develop. **Truck Team Member - General Labour, Driver & Customer Service** **Full-time** at our **Burnaby, BC office.** - **Flexible Hours**:Various shifts are available. We operate Mon-Sun and offer compressed workweeks (F/T hours in 4 days). - Starting pay**:$18-$27/hr **(Base wage, profit share, and tips all in) With 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, each day is different from the next. You’ll be matched up with team members and travel around to different areas of the city in our awesome shiny blue trucks You'll visit our customers’ homes or businesses to provide "No Contact Junk Removal Services" and take away their unwanted items. We are committed to being environmentally friendly by recycling, donating and other options for keeping as much out of landfills as possible. **Daily duties may include, but are not limited to**: - Alongside another Truck Team Member, you'll operate the company vehicle or navigate alongside a driver (no special driver's license required) on assigned service routes for the day - Providing excellent customer service when you're on site to remove the items or give them an estimate that they've requested and educating them on our services - Retrieving, transportation, and disposal of unwanted items, responsibly Qualifications: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Extremely punctual and reliable - 18+ years of age (for insurance purposes) - A valid standard driver's license and clean driving record (past 3 years) - Available 1 day over the weekends - Reliable, hard-working, and a great attitude - Previous customer service, labor, or sales experience is an asset (but not required) - Able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly **Our Values**: - **Passion - **we take our business seriously and not ourselves - **Integrity - **we say what we do and do what we say - **Professionalism - **in how we represent ourselves and our brand - **Empathy - **we seek to understand not just to be understood
