Director Payment Processing Solutions Technology

**Job Summary**

**What will you do?**
- Provide vision, strategic direction and leadership in driving the evolution of the existing payment systems.
- Lead, coach and develop all members of the multi-functional and diverse team in their career growth and in the adoption of modern development practices.
- Seek out industry trends and organization knowledge to understand alternative approaches / solutions
- Promote innovative/ improved methods to get the work done and implement best practices
- Drive the adoption of DevOps automation tools, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and SRE practices
- Manage all development delivery for the portfolio including completion within budget and on time by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related work experience
- Solid experience with a variety of modern technologies/approaches including cloud-based deployments, API development and DevOps automation (UrbanCodeDeploy, GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible), ELK Stack
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills required to operate as a leading member of global distributed technical team that delivers world class service
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing, motivating and providing mentorship to resources on high performing IT Development, Maintenance & Support Teams
- Understanding and strong technical knowledge in development across various distributed and mainframe platforms

**Nice-to-have**
- Large enterprise experience
- Background with mainframe technologies
- Knowledge and experience in approaches to modernize and evolve legacy systems
- Experience with multi-year enterprise wide programs
