Development and Database Coordinator

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Development, the Development and Data Coordinator is responsible for supporting the continued growth of our philanthropic portfolio and broader development needs across the organization. There is growth potential in this role and the opportunity to become full-time.
**Key responsibilities**:
**Database Operations (50%)**
- Assisting in database maintenance, including data entry, updates, and clean-up.
- Ensure Raiser’s Edge donor database is up-to-date including gift entry, contacts, proposal and stewardship activities, and overall data integrity
**Development (50%)**
- Maintain online donation and fundraising webpages
- Working closely with Communications Team to help with content creation of patient stories, solicitation e-blast, and other donor communications
- Proof donor materials and assist with timeline management of fundraising campaigns
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education in marketing, business or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience or data processing experience. Experience in the non-profit or charitable sector an asset.
- Good understanding of database concepts, including data structures, data types, and data relationships.
- Ability to work with confidential information, data, and materials
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills.
- Strong level of computer proficiency; including MS Office, internet and virtual conference platform.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with ability to communicate in Chinese an asset.
