**SUMMARY OF POSITION**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Identify, evaluate, recommend and execute the technical resolution
- Manage system incident, resolution and communication
- Maintain effective execution of the established support process
- Build and manage a support knowledge base and related documentation
- Communicate with users on business implications and the impact of issue fixes.
- To provide user training as required
- General IT system administering, monitoring and managing technical service
- Other duties as assigned
- Customer service and relationship management
- Understanding of business operations in the retail industry
- Knowledge in online payment requirements, infrastructure and best practices
- IT products and services support different organization levels
- Practices sound judgment to escalate issues to senior members within the organization
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent written, oral, and telephone communication skills
- Communicate IT complex ideas with simple business language
- Identify problems and formulate the resolution plan to mitigate risk
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, operations, and security technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and task management skills

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience with multiple technical and business disciplines with a retail service background
- Project management experience, ability to drive and deliver results.
- Demonstrated ability to work, communicate and present information to others outside of Information Technology including external contacts.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- PCI compliance management experience
- Experience and knowledge of performing security assessments within the cloud and cloud-enabled data centre environments
- Collaborative work experience

**WORK CONDITIONS**
- Some travel may be required.
- Manual dexterity is required to operate desktop computers and peripherals.
- Ability to physically inspect equipment.
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
- A criminal record check required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$49,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer support: 2 years (required)
- IT support: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- BC Driver's Licence (Class 5) (required)
