Sales and Design Consultant - Kitchens & Bathrooms

Kitchens and Bathroom First is a family owned and operated business. Since 2002, it has grown to incorporate a beautiful modern kitchen and bath showroom in Ottawa. Our professional staff includes kitchen and bathroom design consultants, craftsmen, project managers and administrative personnel. We have the experience and expertise needed to help customers select the right solutions for the creation of the kitchen and/or bathroom of their dreams. As a value-added service, we offer amazing 3D design services to help customers envision the kitchen or bathroom design they are looking for. We have pride in our work and our customer reviews justify that pride.

**Duties & Skills**:

- Create designs, quotes and orders using the company software, while following established policy and procedures,
- Listen and communicate effectively about sales and design while considering the product and budgetary requirements of customers and their preferred timelines,
- Be a pro-active, highly organized, customer focused, results driven and detail oriented professional, with a demonstrated ability to multitask and thrive in a fast paced, high dollar driven environment,
- Have the ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team setting. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills considered essential,
- Be able to learn quickly about new design trends and products while utilizing technology to maximize results,
- Always provide exceptional customer service.

**Qualifications**:

- An experienced background in sales and well developed adaptive, personalized selling and closing skills and techniques,
- Willingness to learn a structured and proven sales process.
- A strong desire and ability to close the sale.
- College diploma in Interior Design with a minimum of 2-3 years starts to finish sales & design experience considered an asset,
- Bilingual English/French considered an asset

Pay: This position would be of interest to those earning or expecting to earn $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 annual income, including _Sales Rewards_.
