**Job Summary**

The Project Coordinator position is located at the Sudbury, Ontario William Day Construction Office and will be reporting directly to the Construction Manager.

The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for delivering projects of varying size and complexity, with a primary responsibility to oversee the execution and ultimately the completion of projects. This role will participate in project planning, scheduling, organizing, and compiling project deliverables to the client.

**Skills and Responsibilities**

Plan and execute construction schedule against established schedule, milestones, budget and safety.

Correspond with subcontractors, internal staff on a daily basis.

Assist Construction Project Manager with many aspects of their day-to-day duties and to help ensure that all aspects of any construction project run smoothly and efficiently.

Actively participate in Project meetings.

Supervise daily activities to ensure project targets are being met and quantified.

Develop and execute project work plans aimed at keeping projects on track and on budget.

Perform monthly cost and revenue tracking.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in construction settings notably earth works or heavy civil projects is an asset.
- A Diploma in civil and or engineering, construction management, project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent organization and planning skills to prioritize and balance work
- Ability to lead and work with others in the completion of a schedule, budget guidelines, and customer requirements.
- Verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well independently and within a team setting
- Computer proficient. Experience in Microsoft Excel is required, and Microsoft Projects is beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol test
