**About the Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all facility operations services meet the quality standards outlined in the Y Way.
- Assist Facility Operations Manager and General Manager with the planning and execution of refurbishment plans
- Ensure preventative and ongoing maintenance and repair of centre equipment, mechanical equipment, building structures and other equipment as assigned.
- Complete repair tasks, including basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall work, and painting. Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
- Coordinate and schedule third-party contract work for repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure proper use of tools and equipment in a safe manner according to safe work practices and regulatory documentation. Look for obvious safety issues during building rounds.
- Complete maintenance checklist duties, Add any maintenance issues to task list.
- Maintain facility records and track maintenance repairs in Asset Software.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies on a regular basis and order additional supplies as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in building maintenance and operations.
- Experience in the following: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and operations preferred.
- Maintain training in needed areas.
- Intermediate (Standard First Aid & CPR-C).
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector check.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and other forms of technology effective.
- Current Drivers License and ability to travel between centres.
- Travel to Regions is occasionally required.
