Westland Insurance Group Ltd is growing and has a new opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist working on a hybrid model several days in our Surrey, BC office and the remainder remotely. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is involved in all aspects of recruitment for the company and serves as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and the People & Performance team. Supporting the goals of the company, you will focus on high priority needs and assist in efficiently filling positions by sourcing high performers in the industry.

**The Opportunity**:
**In this role you’ll**:

- Provide recruitment support to guide and influence all hiring managers
- Leverage existing and seek out new opportunities to advertise career opportunities
- Ensure all recruitment collateral (job postings, job ads, career fair information) is professional, creative and meets the company standards
- Engage in recruitment events, provide coaching to managers who participate at the event and where appropriate, attends events
- Build a strong working relationship with all hiring Managers, effectively gathers relevant information to ensure accurate understanding of recruitment needs
- Work independently and proactively to ensure recruitment needs of hiring managers are met
- Maintain accurate records to provide regular updates on recruitment activity

**Here's what you bring**:

- 1 - 3 years of high-volume recruiting experience, preferably in a service-driven environment
- Proven relationship management experience in a large complex environment is an asset
- Ability to multitask and manage concurrent recruits while maintaining a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- French language skills are a nice-to-have
- Advanced computer skills including applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, word processing and spreadsheets
