You have an eye for spotting and attracting top talent. Better yet, you connect the dots between the needs of the teams you support and the ideal incumbents who have the sought-after skills, qualities and attitude to fit right in. Sounds like you’d be a great fit as a Talent Acquisition Associate.
In this temporary role, you’ll collaborate and build strong relationships with employees and hiring manager as you develop strategic recruitment plans to find talent.
Your creativity and attention to detail will be on full display as you engage the job market with innovative methods and inspire top talent by elevating our brand through our values for sustainability, respect and more. You excel in fast-paced environments, and harness your time management prowess to ensure all of your ongoing recruitment processes are completed on-time and with excellent customer service.
**In this role, you will**:
Build strong working partnerships with designated business areas to support their unionized and exempt recruiting needs
Identify the specific needs for these business areas and execute hiring practices to find the right talent
Coordinate, prepare and advertise job postings while taking your business partners along the journey
Seek to attract the right talent through recruitment systems and tools including job fairs, social media, and industry events
Develop pre-screening processes to short list talent, determine the selection criteria, testing and assessment requirements in accordance with company policies, collective agreement provisions and applicable government legislation
Lead interviews in partnership with our business stakeholders What it takes:
A diploma or degree in human resources.
Knowledge of employment legislation regulations and hiring practices within collective agreements.
Working knowledge of recruitment technology, including Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and LinkedIn. Bonus points if familiar with SuccessFactors Recruiting.
Excellent computer skills using MS Office Suite and HRIS.
Passionate about talent acquisition and have a creative mindset while thriving in an dynamic and fast paced environment.
