Join our team and be part of a company that values integrity, innovation, and excellence in everything we do. **Skills**: - Supervise and oversee grounds maintenance operations, including lawn care, landscaping, and horticultural services, to ensure the highest quality of workmanship and client satisfaction. - Maintain daily communication with clients and management to address any concerns, provide updates on project status, and ensure timely completion of tasks. - Develop and implement strategies for efficient workload management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and prioritization of tasks, to meet project deadlines and budgetary requirements. - Identify opportunities for additional services and quote on new projects or enhancements based on client needs and site assessments. - Lead landscape installations and renovations, coordinating with crew members and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed according to specifications and industry standards. - Operate heavy equipment, including backhoes and mini excavators, safely and effectively to support landscape construction and maintenance activities. - Demonstrate plant knowledge and expertise in selecting, planting, and maintaining a variety of trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation suitable for client properties. - Delegate responsibilities and provide guidance to crew members, ensuring they are properly trained, equipped, and motivated to perform their duties efficiently and effectively. - Promote the company's brand and reputation in a positive and professional manner, representing Triple J Contracting Inc. with integrity and excellence. **Requirements**: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or related field, with demonstrated leadership abilities. - Proficiency in landscape installations, including grading, sodding, planting, and irrigation systems, property oversight including litter. - Experience operating backhoes, mini excavators, and other heavy equipment required for landscape construction and maintenance tasks. - Strong plant knowledge and understanding of horticultural practices, including plant identification, care, and maintenance. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and management. - Proven ability to develop and implement strategies for efficient workload management and project execution. - Demonstrated ability to delegate responsibilities, provide clear direction, and motivate team members to achieve common goals. - Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. - Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physical fitness to perform manual labor as needed. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company car - Dental care - Discounted or free food - Extended health care - Flexible schedule - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - Profit sharing - Store discount - Vision care Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: - Bradford, ON L3Z 0Z9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Secondary School (required) **Experience**: - landscape: 5 years (required) - supervising: 3 years (required) **Language**: - English and Spanish (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Class G Licence (required) Work Location: In person
