**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director of Resident Care, the incumbent is responsible for providing administrative support to the nursing department and assisting nursing staff with providing safe personal care.

**Main Duties**:

- Assist with feeding residents during breakfast and lunch times;
- Participate in the Quality Management Program through data collection and analysis;
- Conduct research on various current health topics and assist with the coordination of educational presentations;
- Organize the Staff Resource Centre by rearranging and updating educational materials;
- Update inventory list as directed;
- Provide administrative support such as recording minutes, creating forms in both English and Chinese, etc.;
- Other duties as may be assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Current enrolment in a post-secondary Nursing or other health care related program in a recognized University/College;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Career-related work experience;
- Experience working with seniors an asset;
- Bilingual in English and Chinese is preferred, both oral and written.

**Other Requirements**:

- be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under _the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act*_ for the duration of the employment and;
- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
