However, we have much more to accomplish for our customers, and we're looking for a culturally aligned** Product Development Specialist **to join our dynamic team located in Markham.

In this role, you’ll be focused on researching, sourcing, planning. You will work closely with our Product Development Team to grow our brands.

**The **Product Development Specialist** **will**:

- Participate and contribute to new product development for priority brands of the company
- Identify and select manufacturers to produce vaping products for priority brands, meeting criteria such as specifications, price, quality, and lead time
- Establish and maintain relationships with key manufacturers and vendors internationally
- Plan and negotiate timelines and deliverables from manufacturers and vendors ensuring products are launched as scheduled
- Research and examine current and upcoming trends in vaping products
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new and competing products in the marketplace
- Research and validate product design ideas
- Plan and conduct internal feedback activities for proposed new products and summarize results (surveys; focus groups; etc.)
- Gathering information within cross departments of our organization that can potentially inform product design decisions
- Analyze data, correlating findings for use in product design decisions
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with team members from project management and supply chain departments
- Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager

**To be successful you should have**:

- ** Proficiency in Mandarin** and English (oral and written) is a must
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in product sourcing/project coordination
- Post-secondary education is a must
- Familiar with vaping and willing to vape e-liquid products containing nicotine for product approval
- Knowledgeable / experienced with vape hardware and technology is an asset
- Able to establish and maintain relationships with external suppliers
- Willing to communicate during China work hours when required
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally when required
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word & Outlook is a must
- Strong aptitude in research, organization and problem-solving
