This role is instrumental in elevating the client experience, enhancing product performance, and driving innovation in cross-border banking solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in retail banking and a strong understanding of investment products.ResponsibilitiesLead the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of GIC products tailored to personal banking clientsLeverage market insights and client feedback to identify product improvement opportunitiesConduct performance analysis and segmentation to optimize product penetration and profitabilityMaintain and update product documentation, policies, agreements, and fee disclosures to ensure compliance and clarityChampion risk self-assessments and ensure controls align with regulatory expectationsAct as a key liaison for resolving GIC-related inquiries across branches and call centresDeliver training programs to internal teams to strengthen product knowledge and sales effectivenessCollaborate with BOC domestic branches and BOCHK to advance cross-border GIC product offeringsQualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 2 years of retail banking experience, preferably with a focus on investment or deposit productsSolid knowledge of GIC products, operations, and client needsStrong analytical and product management skillsBilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred due to frequent coordination with overseas branchesHigh attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a customer-first attitudeBank of China (Canada) is committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and accessible workplace.
