Toronto, Canada Paint Store in TorontoGTA Full time

**JOB SUMMARY/ PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
Maintain existing contacts, develop new customers and expand the client base in Toronto and the GTA paint supply market.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
(Include but are not limited to the following)
- Expand new customer relationships and managing existing ones
- Promote and sell full line of paint material and products to a range of clients including new and existing contractors, builders, general contractors, and developers
- Remain knowledgeable and current regarding industry and customer developments
- Track jobs in assigned sales territory
- Regularly report on progress to senior management
- Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers
- Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as a top priority
- Follow all regulations and company policies and procedures

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Exceptional people and communication skills
- Sound knowledge/experience of paint products
- Prior Sales experience in the paint industry is preferred
- Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments
- Dynamic results driven individual with proven ability to develop and capitalize on sales leads
- Excellent Knowledge of Paints and Stains
- Leadership skills
- Strong management skills
- Able to coach and train other staff on customer service, safety, and product training

**COMPENSATION**:

- Compensation will be strictly based on experience and knowledge of industry.

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:

- Detailed knowledge of reporting tools and intermediate level computer skills
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel etc.

**EDUCATION**:

- High school or equivalent (required)

**Salary**: $15.00-$30.00 per hour
