**Key Responsibilities**:
**Procurement Management**:
- Manage and understand internal stakeholders' needs.-
- Support departments and project teams by defining appropriate sourcing and negotiation strategies based on the assigned commodity.-
- Source, negotiate, and establish contracts with suppliers, ensuring the best value and quality.-
- Issue purchase orders and manage the procurement process from order placement to delivery.-
- Manage payments with suppliers.-
- Monitor inventory levels, identify low stock items, and ensure high-demand items are in stock.-
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain accurate and timely delivery of products.**Coordination and Communication**:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.-
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support project timelines and operational efficiency.-
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any issues related to procurement.**Cost Management**:
- Monitor and analyze spending to identify cost-saving opportunities.-
- Work with the finance department to ensure procurement activities are within budget.-
- Implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality and service levels.**Systems and Process Improvement**:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.-
- Support the deployment of our new MRP system.**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.-
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in a technology or manufacturing environment.-
- Strong negotiation and sourcing skills.-
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.-
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.-
- Bilingual in English and French.-
- Knowledge of Asian manufacturing markets and suppliers is a plus.-
- Experience with Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) is a plus.**What we offer**:
