*Job Summary*

The Load Planner position involves coordinating and planning the movement of freight to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

This position is from 4 -12 midnight Monday to Thursday and Sundays 9 am - 2 pm.

*Duties*
- Communicate with carriers, customers, and team members to schedule shipments efficiently
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize load planning
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and make informed decisions
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities
- Utilize phone systems for effective communication
- Familiarity with SyteLine software is a plus

*Skills*
- AZ or DZ license preferred or experience parking straight trucks
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis
- Willingness to work quickly, use pump trucks to load or unload to move freight when necessary.
- Knowledge of supply chain operations
- Experience in 3PL (third-party logistics) is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
- Proficiency in transportation management systems
- Ability to analyze data for decision-making
- Competency in data entry tasks
- Familiarity with Avaal is preferred
- Understanding of shipping and receiving processes
- Strong knowledge of the GTA and surrounding areas
- Strong knowledge of truck types and specifications
