**How will you contribute to the team?**
- Support Planning and Scheduling activities for the Alliance.
- Prepare project schedule - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
- Load Resource/Budget Schedule - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
- Set up Baseline Schedule - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
- Update Schedule - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
- Extract Primavera data files and send to the cost controller - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
- Issue schedule for internal use - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
- Issue schedule for External use - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
- Monitor and control the progress of the work against the Schedule - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
- Prepare and update Resource requirements reports - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
- Report critical schedule issues - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
- Lead the identification and explanation of variances between current scchedule, plan, earned values and forecasts, and communicate to the Project Controls Manager, Project Manager.
- Ensure proper progress measurement is in place for all projects and portfolios within the P&L through the whole project cycle.
- Present updates to Lead/Manager/Project or P&L lead.
- Advise on the areas of concern that could prevent meeting the P&L objectives.
- Interface with other Project Control Team to maintain integrated cost-schedule project control system.

**What will you contribute?**
- Must have University degree (B. Eng, BCom, etc).
- 10+ years of relevant cost control experience, experience in engineering and construction projects environment.
- Proficient in MS office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.
- Preferably thorough knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
- Expert Knowledge of project management techniques and a number of years of hands-on experience (i.e., critical path method, progress measurement and earned value technique) and experience in Project planning, analyzing and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills are required with attention to details.
- Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of the general project controls policies and procedures.
- Solid report writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work well with Clients and Alliance partners.
- Ability to work with staff, build and maintain good working relationships with Project Controls team.
- Ability to mentor junior and intermediate staff and work with project cost controller.
