As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Buyer/Procurement Manager to join our team.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Sourcing and Negotiation**:

- Identify and source high-quality South Asian food products and commodities from local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure competitive advantage and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best deals.

2. **Sales and Inventory Analysis**:

- Analyze sales trends and patterns to make informed procurement decisions.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Utilize forecasting tools to anticipate market trends and customer preferences.

3. **Freight Management**:

- Coordinate and book freight for incoming shipments.
- Negotiate freight rates to optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Buyer/Procurement Manager in the food industry, preferably with a focus on South Asian products.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret sales data and forecast accurately.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and logistics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
