Allseas is bringing authentic Japanese Sushi to the Canadian market that had previously only been found in the finest sushi restaurants in Tokyo. As we continue to expand our operations, we are in need of hardworking staff that are interested in learning and growing alongside us.

**Job description**

We have TWO immediate full-time employment opportunities for daytime sushi production staff.

Kitchen/food related experience is extremely valuable, so if you’re tired of the heat, stress and working conditions in the restaurant industry, maybe working in a giant fridge would be the cooler alternative you’re looking for.

Maybe you’re just tired of the craziness that customer service provides and you’d like to work in a more back of house position.
- Day shift pay : starts from $15.75
- Day shift hours: 8am-430pm (flexible, shift occasionally starts earlier as needed for special orders)
- Being able to work on the weekend is required
- No experience or knowledge of sushi/Japanese culture is required

Job Duties:

- Preparing Sushi (Nigiri and Rolls)
- Operate various machinery (cookers, rollers, cutters, etc) to prepare product as per instruction
- Pack the products for delivery
- Preparing the product/facility for the evening shift
- Cleaning both during and after the shift

**Requirements**:

- Able to follow company quality and safety procedures
- Be reliable, fast, work well within a team and be eager to learn
- Be physically able to do the work: able to stand for the entirety of the shift, able to handle the cold, willing to get a little dirty with the cleaning
- Knife skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine is NOT required (but kitchen/food experience is an asset)
