**SUMMARY**

We have an exciting career opportunity for two (2) full-time Day Shift Production Worker to become part of our growing team We are looking for individuals who can process Sushi products so that they are ready for sale.

**SCHEDULE**
- 10:00 AM to 6:30PM
- Monday to Sunday (with two days off during the week)
- Must have weekend availability

**KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Prepare ingredients for the preparation of Sushi products
- Responsible for his or her own station, ensuring that all items are appropriately cleaned and ready for use before and after each shift
- Ensure recipes, ingredient specifications, quantity, quality, cooking time as stated in the SOPs are being executed
- Ensure the production area meets sanitation meets the required Food safety standards
- Ensure that food is properly stored and handled at all times by ensuring all temperature records are properly completed
- Responsible for the cleanliness, hygiene, equipment and tools maintenance; ensure garbage, recycled materials and other disposable items are handled timely and properly
- Scale and cut fish efficiently and effectively.
- Assist in the packaging of Sushi products.
- Receive and store fish and seafood in accordance with established standards.
- Sanitize work area and properly handle products to adhere to food safety and health & safety standards.
- Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Other duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Previous fish cutting experience is an asset.
- Knowledgeable of food safety practices.
- Basic math skills for measuring and weighing fish.
- Able to stand and work for extended periods of time in a refrigerated and wet environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
