**Farm Store Sales Associate**

We’re looking for a “Retail Sales Associate” to join our team here at the Sheldon Creek Dairy Farm Store. This position works afternoons and weekends.

Please Note: This is not a summer position. This part time position would continue year round.

Looking for a unique position working with wonderful customers and promoting locally made Ontario products. This position is responsible in assisting in the operation of the retail store helping to sell the many local products we carry. You will be helping customers, stocking shelves, as well as running our dairy bar serving Ice cream Sandwiches and Cones.

**Primary Accountabilities**:
Performing World Class Service Greeting and serving customers

Having a keen awareness of product knowledge

Scooping Icecream at the Dairy Bar

Restocking merchandise

Determining customers needs

Handling cash - making change

Preparing store for opening

Having a basic knowledge of in store merchandising

Keeping store tidy

Responding to customer concerns

Label products

Assisting with Events

Other duties as assigned by manager

**Shift**:
Week day shifts: 3pm -6:30pm (Student Shift) or 12:30-6:30pm (non-student)

Weekends: Saturdays 8:30am-6:30pm and/or Sunday's 8:30am-6:30pm

**Physical Requirements**:
Standing for the duration of the shift

Lifting up to 30 lbs. / Bending

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
