**AVT Beckett Elevators**is a fast-growing elevator manufacturing company located in Pickering, Ontario. We are currently looking for an Experienced Punch Press Operator on the afternoon shift. This is a full-time role that offers Medical and Dental Benefits after the three-month probationary period.

Role: Set up and Operate CNC Amada Punch Turret Presse for sheet metal manufacturing
- Blueprint reading
- Measuring of parts
- Interpreting precise measuring instruments
- Follow quality control procedures
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications
- Read specifications or follow verbal instructions
- Document work completed
- Clean and lubricate equipment
- Support and Assist other machine operators as required
- All other duties as may be assigned.
- capable of operating equipment safely and knowledgeable of machine safety features and emergency stops
- Have a min. 3 years CNC punch press set up experience
- Capable of performing work at acceptable efficiency levels
- Experience in Machine set up and operation
- Experience with precise measuring instruments along with imperial measuring tape
- Experienced in Sheet Metal fabrication and understand gauges and materials
- Safety conscious
- Fluent in English
- Able to check parts for conformance to acceptable limits
- Organized and able to work independently
- Able to read a tape measure to 1/32.
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
