**Job Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Value Management**: Lead efforts in IT value management, ensuring that technology investments deliver maximum value, aligning with both business and regulatory requirements.
- **IT Sourcing Advisory**: Provide expert advice on sourcing strategies for IT systems, including vendor selection, cost-benefit analysis, and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- **IT Systems Analysis**: Conduct comprehensive assessments of IT systems, identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and ensure systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
- **System Testing**: Oversee the testing of IT systems to ensure they meet performance, security, and regulatory standards, identifying and addressing any defects or gaps.
- **Connected Systems (Smart Meters & IoT)**: Support the integration, deployment, and optimization of connected systems, including smart meters, ensuring seamless communication between IT systems and IoT devices.
- **Supply Chain**: Advise on IT supply chain management, ensuring the integration of third-party vendors and services in a manner that supports regulatory compliance and system functionality.
- **IT Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure IT systems adhere to relevant regulatory frameworks, policies, and standards, assisting in audits, compliance assessments, and risk management.
- **Disaster Recovery Planning**: Develop and implement IT disaster recovery strategies, ensuring systems are resilient, and continuity is maintained during disruptions or system failures.
- **Project Lifecycle Management**: Manage the entire lifecycle of IT project deployment, from planning and design to implementation and post-deployment support, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, and scope.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Serve as a primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure transparent communication and alignment throughout the project.
**Requirements**:
**Experience**:
- At least **10+ years** of experience in IT project deployment, with expertise in IT systems analysis, value management, IT sourcing, and connected systems.
- A minimum of **5+ years** in a managerial role overseeing IT infrastructure projects, guiding teams through complex deployments and regulatory requirements.
- Extensive experience with **smart meters**, **IoT systems**, and other connected technologies within the IT landscape.
**Knowledge & Skills**:
- Strong **IT Systems Analysis** capabilities, including the ability to assess and improve system efficiency and functionality.
- Knowledge of various project methodologies such as **SCRUM**, **Waterfall**, and other frameworks to manage IT project deployment.
- Strong understanding of **IT security** and its implications for system deployment, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Extensive experience in **IT Disaster Recovery** planning and implementation, ensuring business continuity through effective recovery strategies.
- Proven ability to manage IT systems and infrastructure in compliance with regulatory standards, including industry-specific policies and frameworks.
- Ability to analyze and optimize **supply chain** processes related to IT projects and vendor management.
**Project Management**:
- Expertise in managing the full **project lifecycle**, including resource allocation, timeline management, risk assessments, and delivery.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
**Education & Certifications**:
- A **Bachelor’s degree** in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent industry certifications are also acceptable.
- Advanced certifications in **IT governance**, **project management (PMP)**, or **IT security** would be considered a strong asset.
**Technical Skills**:
- Expertise in **connected systems** (e.g., smart meters, IoT technologies).
- Familiarity with **IT project management tools** and software used in both SCRUM and Waterfall methodologies.
