Role type: project based, remote work but may require meetings in Vancouver
**Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with CEO and customers to develop bespoke chatbot solutions
- Develop algorithms, models and codes
- Participate in discussions with customers to understand their requirements and write user stories
- Design, develop, implement and test the software
- Ongoing maintenance and support of the software
Skills & Experience
- post secondary education in a relevant discipline (e.g. Maths, Statistics, ML,
AI, Computer Science but not exclusively) or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of relevant experience in technical consulting, product management, software
development.
- Proven ability to write well structured, scalable and flexible, code and documentation for others to follow and for ease of future enhancement
- Direct experience of using DS/AI platforms and tools (such as Google Vertex AI, AWS
Sagemaker, or Azure ML Studio, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, Sci-kit Learn, Data
Studio, Looker and Qlik).
- Excellent communication - the ability to listen and to share ideas clearly to a range of
audiences.
- Natural inclination to collaborate and continuously improve - with an emphasis on
diversity and inclusion.
- Comfort in working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
across multiple projects, with little or no direct supervision.
