**SUMMARY**

The HPE Technical Specialist will have deep knowledge of HPE products, Green Lake architecture and other complimentary data centre related technologies. The HPE Technical Specialist plays a key role in supporting partner technical enablement, qualifying technical needs, recommending solutions and creating bills of materials based on solution requirements.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Must maintain current technical knowledge, including relevant certifications.
- Ability to solve complex problems and take action on their own
- Conduct technical training on HPE solutions
- Provide technical thought leadership about market trends
- Expertly use HPE tools to develop bills of materials and make solution recommendations
- Provide technical guidance, throughout all stages of the sales process.
- Some travel may be required (10%)
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and ethics.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
- BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline preferred.
- Must have field pre and post-sales experience with selling vendor’s architectures.
- HPE certifications - ASE or MASE preferred
- Proven track record of 3-5 years in a pre or post-sales technical environment.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
