We have an immediate opening for a Process / Technical Writer at our **Winnipeg**, **Manitoba** location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborates with Vehicle Technicians and Engineering Technologists to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and assembly process
- Develops and publishes assembly instruction manuals for all MoveMobility conversions for use by Vehicle Technicians, and customers in the field
- Collaborates with Engineerigng Technologists and Customer Service Managers, to obtain an in-depth understanding of the maintenance requirements, and warranty details for all custom built components of MoveMobilty vehicle conversions
- Develops and publishes Owner’s Manuals and Warranty Manuals for all MoveMobility conversions
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent and cohesive messaging across all documentation
- Research, create and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allow for easy data migration
- Collaborates with Service team to trouble shoot/assist customers in the field with assembly/maintenance inquiries as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated Self Starter with a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Minimum two years experience as an effective technical writer
- Proven ability to learn and understand complex topics
- Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
- Highly organized
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management
- Multitasking skills
- Well versed in chassis architecture strategies and regulations (CMVSS, FMVSS, D4409, ADA) and asset
- Knowledge of provincial and federal motor vehicle safety standards an asset
- Computer proficiency (MS Office)

**Education**
- Bacheolor's degree in relevant technical field
- Certification in an Automotive discipline would be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
