Autocad Drafter

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and translate them into precise technical drawings.
- Create schematics for mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Utilize SketchUp and NavisWorks for visualization and coordination of design elements.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to enhance productivity.

**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, NavisWorks.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and construction processes.
- Experience in drafting schematics for various systems is preferred.
- Ability to create high-quality 2D animations to support design presentations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across different disciplines.
