Key Responsibilities

  • Provide the sales team with technical advice and support.
  • Report to and assist the Chief Technical Officer of the Company in the following scope of work.
  • Manage 4 person drafting hub.
  • Assign drafting work flow.
  • Reviews work produced to SITURA standards, enforcing coding standards across all departments.
  • Phone/email Support to customers as a primary contact.
  • Discussion of Applications, offer creative solutions.
  • Drafting of Details for specific applications.
  • Drafting of Specifications.
  • Oversee each project's life cycle from conception to completion, with an emphasis on technical soundness and resource efficiency.
  • Mindful of liabilities incurred.
  • Interface with fabrication and technical field personnel.
  • Assist in creating in-house standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Architectural or Construction Technology with a focus on drafting
  • 2 to 5 years' experience in building envelope design, ideally with a strong interest in roofing and waterproofing.
  • Proficient in computer skills including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rivet, CRM, MS Office Suite and smartphones.
  • Fluent in English, a second language particularly French or Spanish a strong asset.
  • Vehicle / Driver's License a requirement

Critical Team Work Skills:

  • Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment, this is a very critical skill requirement.
  • Handle work pressure – this is a high-pressure position.
  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Schedule:
     Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 4-day work week (after probationary period)
